Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) as one of the oldest CCIs in Türkiye was established in 1884 and has 12.150  members, 31 occupational group, 79 council members, chairman of the board and 11 board members with 11 departments and 32 personnel offering services as consulting services for investors, Investment promotion services, consulting on business development and other general registration and documentation services to its members. Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) is a professional business support organisation representing the private sector at the local level. It actively supports SMEs, entrepreneurs, and institutions through business development services, internationalisation activities, innovation support, and cooperation with universities, public authorities, and other stakeholders. TCCI has extensive experience in the design and implementation of European Union-funded and international cooperation projects and serves as a bridge between academia, industry, and the public sector to strengthen regional competitiveness, innovation, and sustainable economic development. TCCI has significant experience in institutional capacity building, entrepreneurship support, cluster development, innovation management, and regional development initiatives. It regularly conducts needs assessments, develops strategic roadmaps, organises training programmes, workshops, conferences, B2B matchmaking events, and study visits, while facilitating collaboration among businesses, research institutions, public organisations, and international partners. Through its activities, TCCI contributes to enhancing organisational capacities, promoting innovation, supporting digital and green transformation, and strengthening international cooperation. The organisation's multidisciplinary team has strong expertise in EU project development and management, SME support services, entrepreneurship, cluster development, internationalisation, technology transfer, and stakeholder engagement. The team has extensive practical experience in coordinating multi-partner projects, organising capacity-building activities, managing international cooperation networks, and supporting organisations in the development and implementation of sustainable growth strategies. This experience enables TCCI to effectively contribute to collaborative projects that foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and regional economic development. At the European level, TCCI is a partner in the Enterprise Europe Network under the Single Market Programme (SMP) and is currently implementing the QUEST project under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme. At the national level, TCCI coordinates a number of cluster development (UR-GE) projects aimed at enhancing the international competitiveness and export capacity of regional industries. These include the Trabzon PVC, Aluminum and Glass Sectors UR-GE Project, the UR-GE Project for Regional Cooperation and Export Capacity Development in the Food Sector, the Trabzon Furniture Sector Clustering UR-GE Project, and the TR90 Regional Textile and Footwear Clustering UR-GE Project. In the coming period, TCCI plans to launch new cluster development initiatives focusing on the jewellery, medical technologies, and health tourism sectors.
