Hamedan Glass Co. was established in 1975 (1354 Iranian calendar), originally founded with support from the Industrial Credit Bank. The company’s first glass production facility began operating in 1982 with a capacity of 40,000 tons per year. Today, it is one of Iran’s leading manufacturers of glass bottles and jars, serving the food, beverage, and packaging industries.
Over time, the company expanded with a second production unit in 1999 (1378), adding modern “Press & Blow” and “Blow & Blow” technologies for making lightweight and semi-light glass containers—including wide-mouth jars and narrow-neck bottles. Thanks to local raw materials and advanced machinery, the company operates without import dependency and meets global quality standards.
Producing packaging for a wide variety of products—from sauces, jams, pickles, juices, dairy items, oils, vinegars, and more—the company also exports to regional markets including Iraq, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, and Afghanistan.
