Founded in 1992, DISAN is a Turkish engineering and manufacturing company specializing in recycling machinery, waste processing equipment and turnkey plant solutions. With more than three decades of experience, the company brings together manufacturing expertise, project engineering and an understanding of recycling processes to help customers recover valuable materials and build efficient, durable operations.
Based in Silivri, Istanbul, DISAN operates from a 35,000 m² production site, including 10,000 m² of enclosed manufacturing space. Its workforce of approximately 250 employees, supported by a dedicated research and development team, provides the foundation for developing individual machines and complete processing facilities. This combination of engineering resources and manufacturing capability enables DISAN to address a wide range of project requirements, from equipment supply to integrated plant delivery.
DISAN’s extensive equipment portfolio covers the principal stages of waste preparation, sorting, separation, conveying, size reduction and baling. Its product range includes baling presses, conveyors, trommel screens and other screening systems, ballistic and air separators, bale and bag openers, shredders, paper shredding equipment and metal separation solutions. Developed with an emphasis on robust construction, safe operation and ease of maintenance, these solutions address the practical demands of recycling and waste processing facilities.
Beyond individual machinery, DISAN designs and delivers tailored plants for municipal solid waste, packaging waste, mixed paper and cardboard, PET, and flexible and rigid plastics. Its capabilities also extend to automatic paper sorting lines, book and paper shredding systems, PET pre-washing, pulp reject processing and refuse-derived fuel (RDF) preparation. This broad application expertise allows the company to develop solutions around the characteristics of the incoming material and the operational objectives of each project.
Each project is approached as a coordinated process, with attention to equipment selection, plant configuration and the relationship between processing stages. From initial design and engineering through manufacturing, installation and commissioning, DISAN supports customers in translating their requirements into practical operating systems. After-sales technical support continues beyond commissioning, helping customers maintain their equipment and address their evolving operational needs.
